Day 1
Start your Journey from Dar es salaam
Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will have time to rest and prepare for your early morning flight to Mpanda. It is recommended to get a good night’s sleep as your journey continues early the next day. Your domestic flight is scheduled to depart at 5:30 AM, so ensure that all necessary arrangements, including ticket confirmations and packing, are completed the night before. An early transfer to the airport will be arranged to ensure a smooth check-in process, allowing you to begin your adventure seamlessly.

Arrival in Mahale Mountains National Park
Arrive in Mpanda and transfer by road to Mahale Mountain National Park. From the airstrip, you will be transferred to your lodge, such as Sokwe Lodge. After settling in, you’ll receive a briefing on the upcoming trek and activities. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at the lodge, enjoying the scenic surroundings of Lake Tanganyika and the Mahale Mountains. Overnight at the lodge.

Chimpanzee Trekking
After breakfast, embark on a guided chimpanzee trekking experience in Mahale Mountains National Park.
